Why do you need 2 ways in our home?

Having a backup gives everyone peace of mind! Garage and door codes can fail, and keys can break off in locks. These things don’t happen often but when they do, we’ll still be able to enter your home. We strongly recommend using one of our free lockboxes to keep your keys in while you’re away.

Your sitter will initially contact Stephanie for guidance and then she will contact you for all serious and urgent matters. We will use your veterinarian for care, and if they are closed or busy, we will take your pet to the closest animal emergency hospital.
Why do I have several different pet sitters?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
At Steph’s Pet Sitting, we work as a team! Initially, you are set up with 2 sitters, a main sitter, and a backup sitter. As time goes by, we may add in other sitters depending on how many visits per day you need and the length of your trip. This is to help out with the sitter’s days off and vacations, as well as illness and emergencies.
How do I know my sitter stayed for the entire amount of time I paid for?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
Our software, Time To Pet, has GPS capability. Every time a sitter arrives at your home they “check in” and when they leave they “check out.” This records the exact time and location of each and every visit. This information can not be changed and is closely monitored throughout the day by management.
What happens if I’m delayed in returning home?

If I come home early will I be charged for visits not completed?
Your Subtitle Goes Here
Yes, all originally scheduled visits will be charged so your sitter can be compensated. We reserve this time for you and sometimes have to turn down visits requested by other clients.
Should I tip my sitter?

Tipping is not required but is always appreciated. You can leave a cash tip in your home for your sitter(s) as long as it’s in a sealed envelope with their name(s) on it or Steph’s Pet Sitting.
