Who We Are…

My very first job was as a veterinary assistant at Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital in 1987. A few years later, I attended Harcum College’s Veterinary Nursing Program and received my Associate in Animal Science degree. I’ve worked at several small-animal hospitals over the years, including a cats-only practice and one where I handled most of the exotic pets, such as birds, rodents, and reptiles. In 1999, I moved to Ocean Pines, Md., and started Steph’s Pet Sitting, which grew for more than 5 years. In 2004, I moved back to Pennsylvania, sold Steph’s Pet Sitting in Maryland, and re-started it here in Media.

In my free time, I enjoy going to concerts and love heavy metal music. I’m also a drummer in a local rock band called Scratches ‘N Dents, and a competitive pinball player. I recently finished 4th in Delaware’s State Championship!

Kerri has worked for Steph’s Pet Sitting since 2016. She is seen here with her dog, Beau. She’s a graduate of Ridley High School and also attended Temple University. In her free time, she enjoys spending it with family and going to the movies. She manages most of our midday walks during the week as well as pet sitting visits.

Anna Marie grew up with cats. Her most recent, Harry, was a rescue from the Radnor Trail. She loves caring for all breeds, ages, and sizes, thoroughly enjoying the “cat therapy”. A former Art Teacher with a degree from Temple University, she studied at the Tyler School of Art and completed graduate work at the University of the Arts and the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Her interests are painting and interior decorating, and cultivating an English garden at her 200-year-old house in Media. She is pictured with Sammy, a neighborhood stray that found a happy home.

Amy is a Jersey girl who has lived in Florida and found her way to Delco in the early 2000s. She has a degree in Geological and Environmental Science from Susquehanna University and a passion for all animals. Amy is a proud mom of her teenage son, her 2 dogs, Ruby and Stevie, and her cat, Miso. Amy also enjoys fostering through The Rescue Express. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, traveling (especially to Walt Disney World), and anything related to Halloween!

Dawn grew up in Delaware County and has lived there most of her adult life. She attended Saint Joseph’s University for her Bachelor’s degree in psychology and sociology. During the day, she works in account management for a healthcare technology company. She loves music, dancing, reading, and traveling.

Lindsay grew up caring for her family’s Lasha-Poo, Nicky, for 18 years. She works full-time in the operating room as a surgical technician for an Ophthalmic Surgery Center and is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She enjoys spending her free time with her family, going to the shore, walking the trails at Ridley Creek State Park, shopping for antiques, and refurbishing antiques to give them a new lease on life! 

Greetings! I am a nonprofit lawyer by day and a pet sitter by night! I love all animals, big and small, but any day I get to pet a dog is a good day! My two kitties, Odin and Natasha, are named after Marvel characters. In my spare time, I enjoy baking, going to the movies, and binge-watching TV shows. I also love all things Harry Potter related.
